I remember more than anything having gauss and tape on my arms after I ripped off skin after games. Coming off the field this week, I didn’t have any scratches and my legs really weren’t that sore.

FieldTurf is a lot better and softer. It doesn’t take up the skin. Also, when you land on the new turf, it’s a lot softer.

It felt better than real grass. You have to get used to it, but once you get used to it, it compares to grass.

You can tell a tremendous difference in that just running on it for the first time. I don’t feel any slower on it. I feel as quick, as fast.

Our players loved it. We didn’t have the turf burns that we have had in the past, that didn’t bother anybody. We slipped some, but as the game went on there was less and less. I think it’s going to be tremendous for the Dome and it’s certainly going to be tremendous for our players.

I like it there," Williams said of the Georgia Dome. There's a good atmosphere there and it's a good turf to run on. It's fast, so you can make some sharp cuts.
