Platteview High School Trojans Ready March to Victory

Striving for a breakout season in 2017, the Platteview High School Trojans (IA) start their journey with converting their existing field to a premier surface.

Scheduled to be installed over the summer, the new FieldTurf Revolution system will serve as home turf for the Trojans future home games. Brian Launderville, President of Midwest FieldTurf, pointed to the proven safety as a driving reason why the Platteview opted for FieldTurf

The field, covering nearly 80K square feet, will serve as the primary venue for the schools’ football and soccer programs.

Named after the concept of completeness, the Revolution 360 fiber features optimal durability, resilience and feel.

Quickly becoming the most popular surface in North America, Platteview High School will join an impressive list of current users, of which features CenturyLink Field, home of the Seahawks & Sounders, Gillette Stadium, home of the Patriots & Revolution, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Falcons and United, Portland Timbers, Princeton University, Toledo University, University of Texas at El Paso and over 200 High School and community fields.

Independent testing by both Labosport and Penn State University rated Revolution 360 as the premier turf system on the market.

In fact, Revolution 360 is still the first and only fiber in the industry to score an 83 on Labosport's Fiber Performance Index, the first true measurement of fiber quality. And the only one to receive a perfect 10 - 10 “good”, NO “hair-splitting”, NO “fractured”, NO “complete splitting” after Penn State University's Sports Surface Research Center’s aggressive 150,000 cycle Lisport Wear Testing.

The new field will showcase FieldTurf’s CoolPlay infill system, which provides industry-leading safety with a unique innovation – a top layer that can reduce field temperatures by 35 degrees over conventional sand/rubber infill solutions.

The key to our top dressing is a special extruded composite that provides a safe laying surface while reflecting heat. CoolPlay takes nothing away from performance... except the heat.

CoolPlay is a popular choice with elite collegiate programs across the nation, including the University of Arizona, University of Notre Dame, University of Nebraska and the University of Georgia.
