The NFL Installs FieldTurf for the Game Day Fan Plaza at Super Bowl XLIV

Miami, FL (February 5, 2010) – The NFL’s newest Super Bowl fan festival, the Game Day Fan Plaza, is an impressive showcase which has been outfitted with over 60,000 square feet of FieldTurf.

Ticket-holders for Sunday’s game will have the opportunity to visit the Plaza and take part in a number of activities on the exact same artificial grass surface as their favorite players and teams.

Football fans who are eager to test or demonstrate their skills can do so in a number of interactive games prepared on the premium FieldTurf surface; the same synthetic turf used by the AFC Champion Indianapolis Colts, among 20 other teams in the NFL.

The Game Day Fan Plaza will be open by Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.. As part of the week-long activities in Miami, it was also opened for free to the general public on Pro Bowl Sunday.
